Inner Mongolia Meilijian Qinglan Hazardous Waste Disposal Co., Ltd. has commissioned Inner Mongolia Shangqing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the Landfill Modification Project of Phase I. In accordance with the Interim Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessments (Ministry Order No. 4), the following information is disclosed:

1. Project Overview

• Project Name: Landfill Modification Project of Phase I of Inner Mongolia Meilijian Qinglan Hazardous Waste Disposal Co., Ltd.

• Location: Within the existing landfill site, 7.05 km east of Mengxi High-Tech Industrial Park, Otog Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

• Project Type: Modification

• Details:
  The Phase I project of Inner Mongolia Meilijian Qinglan Hazardous Waste Disposal consists of two components: a Hazardous Waste Integrated Treatment Plant and a Hazardous Waste Landfill. Approved under EHPB Approval No. [2018]266 (December 2018), the treatment plant is currently under construction and not yet environmentally certified. This modification focuses solely on the landfill.

• Construct a rigid landfill with a storage capacity of 100,000 m³, annual disposal capacity of 10,000 tons, and service life of 15 years.

• Retain the flexible landfill with adjusted capacity to 432,100 m³, annual disposal capacity of 23,750 tons, and service life of 20 years.

• Flexible landfill area: 84,154.93 m²

• Storage capacity: 532,100 m³

• Annual disposal capacity: 33,750 tons

• Service life: 20 years
